The company’s pipeline proposal was evaluated as the most advantageous of its competitors. Thus, providing a both technically and economically feasible solution. The offer consists of 28 km of 30” SAWL steel pipes, which also include anti-corrosion coating and concrete weight coating. Note that, the fabrication and external coating process of the entire quantity of pipes will take place at the Company’s plant in Thisvi, Viotia, Greece. Therefore, scheduled deliveries will begin in 2023.
The development of the pipeline plays a decisive role in the energy security of Greece and Northeastern Europe. In the meantime, it contributes decisively to the smooth energy transition and heterogeneity of supply to this extremely sensitive region.
